Advocacy in action

About the PAG

The CMMI Partner Advocacy Group is the collective voice of the CMMI community — a volunteer-led group that gathers what partners are seeing, prioritizes it, and carries it into the room with ISACA.

What the PAG is

Volunteer-led

Members are volunteers from across the CMMI partner ecosystem — appraisers, instructors, and partner leaders.

Two-way channel

Community input flows up to ISACA; ISACA insights flow back to the community through the PAG.

Issue-focused

We identify, review, and prioritize emerging issues affecting CMMI globally.

Sounding board

ISACA leadership uses the PAG to test directions before they reach the wider market.

How it works — closing the loop

1

The CMMI community raises issues

Partners surface questions, friction, and ideas — here, in Water Cooler sessions, or directly to a member.

2

Monthly PAG meeting

PAG members meet ahead of IPAG to prioritize the topics that affect the community as a whole.

3

Monthly IPAG meeting

Prioritized topics are reviewed with ISACA leadership in the joint ISACA + PAG meeting.

4

ISACA leadership acts & responds

Directions and decisions come back through the PAG.

Outcomes flow back to the CMMI community — closing the loop.

What the PAG is not

The PAG is not a substitute for direct ISACA / CMMI Institute channels — Customer Experience Center, Finance, Account Management, or Quality. The PAG addresses topics that affect the community as a whole.
